Posted on: 30 June, 2010 - Category: Recreation and Leisure by:

One of the highlights of any of my trips to London is a trip to the theatre. To many people, London is the most rewarding place in the country to watch a play. It just has a feeling of authenticity when you are watching something in the old vic.

If you are planning a trip to the theatre in London there are several things to bear in mind before setting off on your journey.

Majorca holiday deals – relax on any budgets

Posted on: 21 June, 2010 - Category: Recreation and Leisure by:

Majorca has everything you need for a fantastic summer holiday including hot weather, soft, sandy beaches and a sea perfect for paddling in, swimming in and for trying out loads of new water sports. There’s accommodation to suit every budget so finding your own perfect Majorca holiday deal shouldn’t be hard.
One of the easiest ways to maximise your holiday budget on your Majorca holiday is to book an all inclusive deal where all your meals and drinks (although alcohol is sometimes excluded) are included in the price of your stay. All inclusive Majorca holiday deals can start from as little as £200 per person which means you’ll have loads of money left over for souvenirs or making holiday memories on those crazy banana boat rides!
All inclusive Majorca holiday deals are ideal for large families as eating out every night with four people or more can get very expensive on holiday. One of the island’s most popular family resorts is the north east town of Alcudia where kids can enjoy the soft, safe and sunny beach and the adults can enjoy the comfortable hotels, tourist-friendly menus (simpler with kids!) and great nightlife. The resort is full of bars, restaurants and even a few discos so you can show off your tan on the dancefloor all night long. But anxious parents needn’t worry as Alcudia nightlife, although known to be lively, is much less rowdy than its neighbour Magaluf and the nearby island of Ibiza. There are plenty of other things to keep you busy too, with guided walking tours around the ancient Roman ruins in Old Alcudia Town, glass bottomed boat rides out into the Mediterranean Sea and a water park and go-karting track for the kids.
Cheap Alcudia holidays can be found on the internet and in high street travel agents so you can grab your own cheap Majorca holiday simply and quickly.

Paris tour guide

If you are looking for Paris tour guide, it is important that know what to look for, and to be certain that you will be visiting the right places. Everybody knows about the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elys, even if they can’t pronounce it, but how about Saint Chapelle, which Louis IX had built to hold a piece of the true cross and Jesus’ crown of thorns? Or the busy open street market on the Rue Mouffetard, known locally as La Mouffe, where just about every house and shop number on the street has a story to tell?

Explore a stronger Ireland

Posted on: 19 June, 2010 - Category: Travel by:

Why does Irish Republic allure people so much? One of the basic reasons is that it has an exceedingly rich and struggling history in conjunction with a number of breathtaking natural features. Irish Republic, in a nutshell, consists of 26 of 32 counties constituting the island of Ireland and became triumphant in achieving independence from the United Kingdom in 1921. It is known as Ireland across the globe these days while Northern Ireland remains a mere part of the United Kingdom up till now. Even though clandestine movements continue to combine Northern Ireland with the independent nation, with the passing of years the momentum is falling down. What is more, with the passing of years economy of Ireland is getting stronger and the country is becoming affluent more and more.

Do You Look And Think Like A Tourist?

Posted on: 16 June, 2010 - Category: Travel, Vacation Tips by:

When you to travel to a destination are you a tourist or a visitor? Do you assimilate into the culture or do you instantly brand yourself as a tourist. Unfortunately Americans have the international reputation for not blending into the local culture and sticking out in the crowd.

If you travel with a fanny back, you can rest assure that you will instantly be branded as a tourist. There is always an American tourist sporting the fanny. Get rid of the fanny pack, unfortunately it is cheesy and worse of all just plain ugly.

Travelling to Edinburgh

It’s been a long cold winter in Scotland, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that more and many of them have been taking a winter holiday in warmer parts of Europe, helping the European vacation industry make a good start to the year.

The number taking a winter break has increased to new records this year, partly due to an economy that is still doing well but could be heading towards a period of decline, and cheap cost flights from Scottish regional airports giving more choice and of course overall lower prices for a winter holiday.
